Coquille Medical Center

An expansion of the Coquille Medical Center added 10 new exam rooms, 3 additional private offices, and numerous supporting areas.   The 7,500 sq ft addition nearly doubled the total usable space and gave them 2,600 sq ft of new storage space.  The design required careful evaluation of existing power and communication systems and coordination of the transfer to the new systems.  The project included a dedicated electrical/telecommunications room, converting multiple individual service entrance disconnects into a consolidate service entrance switchboard, the addition of several HVAC units, reconfiguration of an existing x-ray facility, and a parking expansion requiring site lighting.  Electrical consulting services provided through HGE, Inc. (Joe Slack, AIA).
